Casey and Joey’s Ritz Carlton wedding in Naples was truly lovely..and one of the most memorable moments of their day was their reveal. Here are some reasons why we love them:
1. Nerves are instantly calmed the moment a bride and groom see each other
2. The moment is intimate, versus at the altar in front of your wedding guests
3. You can actually talk to one another instead of waiting until the end of the ceremony to gush about how beautiful/handsome your bride/groom is!
4. Hair and makeup is fresh, and no tears (from the ceremony) have caused the need for touch ups
5. You aren’t rushed to take family photos, bridal party photos and bride & groom photos within the window of your cocktail hour. Which isn’t really a full hour of shooting, because within that hour, time must be allowed to bustle your gown, freshen up, and line up for introductions into your reception.
BUT, the reason why we love reveals the MOST is because these images are the wonderful, emotion-filled result.
Now…I won’t discourage a bride and groom that decide to take the more traditional approach and wait to see each other at the ceremony. There is value and meaning in that moment as well, and we all have different visions for our day. Whatever you decide, hopefully this has helped you consider your options and make the best decision for YOU.
