Jordan and Rob are engaged and currently practicing law in Boston – they are enjoying the ‘walking city’ so much that they decided it would be the perfect engagement session location. This was an absolute thrill for me as Boston is one of my favorite US cities! Stephanie of Along Came Stephanie styled the shoot and we set out for a cupcake picnic in the Boston Commons, where the first signs of spring were blooming.

Rob has a great sense of humor and has this thing he does with cupcakes that always gets a reaction out of Jordan: he eats an entire cupcake in one bite!
Next, we had a quick wardrobe change and headed out toward the ‘Brownstones’ which are incredibly beautiful Victorian style residential buildings in the Back Bay and are considered one of the best-preserved examples of 19th-century urban design in the United States.
I LOVE Jordan’s jacket…I searched it out at J. Crew and tried it on…became totally obsessed and then remembered that I live in Florida. I didn’t buy it but I secretly still want it just to have it!
Our next stop was the harbor, which is so beautifully textured and richly historic – it’s the site of the Boston Tea Party! I loved imagining how many feet have walked these cobbled paths and over the progression of time and how different our lives are today compared to when these bricks were first laid.
Jordan loves the clock tower so we stopped nearby for a few night pics on our way to dinner. I could go to Boston JUST to eat! Wow…thank you for such amazing dining experiences, Jordan and Rob!! The warm lobster roll is still in my dreams!
The next day, we stopped by Jordan and Rob’s apartment which is an old church that has been converted to apartment buildings. What a treasure these images will be in the future for these two! To look back at images in front of their first apartment together seems so romantic and nostalgic!
Thank you, Jordan and Rob for an amazing shoot and a memorable trip to Boston! I can’t wait for your Florida wedding this fall – it will be so fun to see you & hang out with you again!! Boston is even more amazing after touring it with Stephanie and the both of you…we made great memories and ate way too much good food! Congratulations on your engagement!
