A Chicago native, Stacy started her creative journey first as a dancer throughout her formative years, pursuing this passion all the way through college (on scholarship!) at UNLV. She worked at the MGM Grand convention center planning corporate event catering as well as weddings. Oh, the foreshadowing! There, she met her husband of 23 years and after welcoming their first child, a daughter, they moved to Oregon where they were blessed with a second baby (a boy this time) and enjoyed mountain + river life for 5 years. During her time as a stay at home mom, Stacy began competing in scrapbooking competitions and decided to elevate her photography skills in pursuit of winning. From the moment she picked up the camera, a new love was born for the creative, yet technical art of photography that she never imagined would parallel those aspects of dance. After hanging photos of her children in her home, the requests from friends came pouring in and a business was born. After moving to Florida in 2007 and becoming captivated by the beauty of our white sand beaches, Stacy transitioned from family photography to weddings and has been chasing brides and sunsets ever since.
