We are unbelievably excited to share this feature on Southern Weddings with you! After 2 years of submitting to Southern Weddings, Callee & Calan’s wedding was (finally) the perfect fit for their demographic. I can honestly say that I screamed when I read the acceptance, which brought my family running into my office from every direction. What a happy day and incredible honor.

Amelia is graduating from South Fort Myers High School AND the Fort Myers Institute of Technology–she has accomplished a lot this year! To celebrate her milestones, we snapped some photos around her community and laughed the whole way through. I think mostly Amelia was laughing at me because I couldn’t contain my excitement at her ease in front of the camera, and her effortless beauty. She was a dream to photograph; her confidence and creativity inspired me to new heights of actually screaming while dancing while shooting.
Congratulations, Amelia! Your future knows no bounds, and I am thrilled to have celebrated this special time with you. What a pleasure to photograph sweet cousins who all have the awesome gift of growing up together! Thank you, Carmin and Rachael for this fun studio session and for sharing the beautiful ways that you are displaying the images in your homes!
Kevin and Lizzy celebrated their engagement with a throw-back vintage engagement session at the fair. It just happened to be one of the coldest days of the year, but you would never know it from looking at these images, as their sweet love for one another takes center stage. I will admit that I was wearing gloves and a scarf the entire time!
