Brooke & Daniel: swept up in romance

Brooke and Daniel were married at the incredibly beautiful, historic Buckingham Community Center. They spoke their vows under the shade of beautiful trees adorned with fabric, flower-filled lanterns, and a clear glass chandelier…it was a dreamy, romantic affair and I will never forget how it felt to behold Brooke’s beaming face as she looked into the eyes of her groom.

Brooke hand-made these flowers using the pages of a book, which would later be used to shower upon the bride and groom at their grand reception exit.

Brooke is so creative and thoughtful…she hand-dyed her dress in tea to give it her very own twist…she is so crafty like that!

Creativity runs in the family, as the florals were designed by Isn’t She Lovely Floral, owned/operated by Brooke’s aunts…lucky girl! When I took a look at the bouquet, I think my jaw literally hit the floor…each turn of the hand revealed a new, glorious view to soak in! From succulents to feathers, this exquisite grouping & creative genius still has me in awe. Not to mention the boutonniere, which was so fabulous that my assistant had to tear me away from it…I think I shot 100 frames of it, 100 different ways! I have a thing for succulents…I can’t explain it.

Brandon captured some shots of Daniel getting ready for his bride:

Isn’t She Lovely Florals created an exquisite floral arch and alter for Brooke and Daniel. The lanterns and draping fabric were rented from Along Came Stephanie—I thought the simple draping among the oak trees was brilliant, and the chandelier was the perfect touch.

Ceremony Time! Daniel’s father prayed over Daniel; over his role as a husband and for Brooke and Daniel’s marriage. It was the way every marriage should begin…full of hope and promise. I was (not surprisingly) crying the whole time he prayed.

Brooke was so excited to be married to her man! She was radiant…seriously glowing…her joy lifted us all up.

Sweet sisters:

Can you tell that I could not get enough of the floral genius that surrounded me?

This backdrop felt too good to be true!

Okay. If you haven’t already poured yourself a cup of coffee (or in my case tea because I am off the coffee), do it now. Sit back, relax…as you are about to view the most awe-inspiring eye candy that was Brooke’s vision for her wedding reception. It was brought to life by her personal collections, and the talent of Isn’t She Lovely who created intricate and meaningful centerpieces that invited the guests to play game of I Spy, where treasures and trinkets could be found and checked off of the list at each guest’s table setting.

The George Washington figurine below was among the items on the list…I found it!

I Spy the..Liberty Bell! Yes! Two points for me.

Such a lovely, inviting head table!

The cake stand was carefully crafted using the entire collection of William Shakespeare’s works! The history woven through every element of this wedding just astounds me.

Brooke & Daniel’s wedding invitation came in the form of a book, that was of course wax-sealed.

Fab groom cake was a complete surprise to Daniel and he sincerely loved it!

Congratulations to a beautiful, loved and loving couple: Brooke & Daniel. True love was witnessed by all at your wedding, and everyone you encounter…I am blessed to know you and thrilled by the privilege of capturing your wedding day memories. May you enjoy a lifetime of happiness, joy and creativity together!

All our love,
Brandon & Stacy
