wedding wednesday: the b word

Fort Myers Photographer, Set Free Photography

The b word = Botox. You thought I was going to say Bridezilla, didn’t you? *chuckles* The only bridezilla you will catch me blogging about is: yours truly. I may have had a mild bridezilla moment on my wedding day when I politely demanded that my Mother bring French fries to my dressing room. Clearly, she should have known this meant: McDonalds. Let’s just say that when she showed up with Wendy’s, I was not. happy. I have the picture to prove it:

I was also less than thrilled about that wayward piece of hair…it was blown out of my partial up-do on my way in to the country club. It was crazy windy that day and we had to move our ceremony indoors…nine years later I am still not over it!

Moving on…we are all gathered here today to talk about… Botox. As I thought about this post, I figured it could go one of two ways…it could be wildly popular, or you would all shake your head at me and remove me from your favorites. Well, it’s a risky job to do, but as your resource for all that is hip and happenin’ in the world of weddings, this subject is must. It has come to my attention that Botox parties are increasingly popular for brides and/or mothers of the bride. For a little “freshening up” before the big day, you and your closest gals can invite the amazing Andrea Horky to your house. She will make your little lines disappear in no time and she’s so darn cute & fun that you won’t be able to resist asking her to stay and have a glass of that wine. I have met her twice and it feels like I have known her forever…she’s super cool & easy to be around…you will fall in love with her. And with Botox. It’s a glorious combination.

You can reach Andrea on her cell: 239-671-7655 or email her here: thoroughbred1208@aol.com.

She has great group rates and will give you a quote right over the phone.
Tell her Stacy sent you (I’ve always wanted a reason to say that).

Now. I know you are wondering if I have had Botox.
I’ll never tell, but I have heard that it doesn’t hurt…much. Not that I know from experience. Or do I?
Loving keeping you guessing,
Stacy

Just a Bite Mindy - I think I actually did the drive through thing at Wendy’s to get the Biggie fries – I had so much fun at your wedding – perhaps the only wedding I really wanted to be in…. shhhhhhh. Love you and your flawless face – with or without botox (cuz you will always have photoshop)

MOM - I had my doubts about the blame for the Wendy’s fries. I may have been riding along in the car and my advice was ignored. How does that sound? Do you think you could have a botox party–say in early October? Better bring the collagen as well.
