When I met Casi, I immediately noticed her honey-brown eyes. They just sort of…glow and draw you in. I fell in love with her freckles and we started out having a fantastic photo shoot. She is super natural in front of the camera, and she hardly needed any direction from me…fun, fun, fun. And then…catastrophe. Just as we were heading to our last location, I realized that my memory cards fell out of the top of my bag…they were in a case…and they were FULL of images that I had not yet downloaded (some of them Casi’s!). I frantically started re-tracing my steps, and was so very thankful when Casi and her sweet Mom, Jeanne helped look. I can’t even tell you the anxiety attack I that I was having…my armpits are sweating right now just thinking about it. After 25 minutes of searching, we were losing hope…but fervently praying…and I made one last-ditch attempt to ask a restaurant if anyone turned in my case of memory cards. YES! Someone had…a happy ending for all. But a scary memory still…I can tell you that will NEVER, EVER happen again. EVER!
Still, I am thrilled with these photos of such a beautiful girl. She has the perfect body and I totally want to dye my hair that same color!
Casi: Thank you for having grace on me during my little freak out. I was so encouraged that you were praying and hoping for our happy ending. And thank you for helping me look around in the heat…I know it wasn’t very fun! But YOU rocked!
