So, it was quite a thrill when she contacted me from our hometown of Chicago and inquired about family/engagement photos right here in Fort Myers, where her fiance’s family lives. It was a 16 year reunion and Sharon still looks the same, with her sparkling blue eyes and completely flawless skin. Um, Sharon: May I have the name of your facial cream? ‘Cause you don’t have any wrinkles and I will need to get my hands of some of that!

We started things off at the studio, where we captured these precious smiles:

Then we went on location to a field in North Fort Myers, where we had the most fun capturing true love, family, and the innocence of sweet young girls:

Each of these children are such individuals, all unique and wonderfully special. This was the first time that I actually captured them altogether, and I was thrilled when I came across this image:

Here we have the oldest and the youngest…I remember when baby Jacob was born, and knowing how time flies makes me want to cry! Soon enough our baby boys look like big brother Justin; all grown up and handsome. I need a pause button for life right now!

Joey…I love this kid because he is maturing into a young man, but still laughs at his mom’s dancing and goofiness. I just want to hug you, Joey. And Jacqueline…she is all beauty and spunk with her twirls and curls. When she came in for her three year old pictures, she was ready to come back the next day for more. LOVE that girl!

Josh…my love, the child that stole my heart…you may have heard about him on facebook after our session…this is my Josh who, on the way home from our shoot, so sweetly told me “Stacy, I love you.” Julianna…this gorgeous girl is the very reason that I met Mommy J and I am forever thankful that Julianna was in my son’s kindergarten class. Juls looks like her Mom, and is a dancer…so naturally, when I look at her I feel an instant connection. She always rocks the camera.

Precious J family, you have become like family to me and I love watching you grow. Now if I only had as many pictures of my own children as I have of you, I would be in good shape! I think I need to hire myself! I love knowing that you will treasure these images for years to come and truly: you have inspired me to take more pictures of my kids. Jessy, I love you.

Alyssa is a drummer–she rocked out these pics with her drumsticks, and let me tell you I was beyond excited when the drum set came out!! I was beside myself!

Her beauty is literally astounding:

Alyssa and I have matching shoes! I love ‘em…and I have no issues with wearing sequins on my feet at my age. None.

Thankfully, Bryce and I have been on many sushi lunch dates this year, so I have watched him grow and had my baby fix fulfilled every few weeks…thank you, Bryce! I needed that!

Bryce is the cutest Boston fan ever…I was super happy to incorporate the Red Sox in our session. Great find on the letter B, Tara! I love the dual meaning of it!
ps. I almost trashed the photo on the right because the focus wasn’t on the B…BUT then I realized that the focal point is right where it should be: in Bryce’s trademark hair do! Yes!

Bryce was on the move…I love this image depicting his determination (to crawl away from us and explore!)…and I find his cheeks irresistible. And ooooh those ruby red lips!

The plan is to have Bryce wear Daddy’s jersey every year to mark the progress of his growth. I can feel the tears welling up as I realize that someday this jersey will actually fit him!

Bryce is stylin’ in this most adorable hat! And those two bottom teeth are more than I can handle…seriously, I can’t take it. He is too adorable for words!

One word: orange! I love the color orange with denim…it really pops in pictures! Tara, your wardrobe selections are awesomeperfectamazingiloveit. Thank you. For totally rocking the orange.

It wouldn’t be a family picture without Abbey & Bode, two of the sweetest dogs I know!

First, I have to give Larisa lots of credit for rocking out this awesome color combination. We had discussed color combinations a few weeks before (while watching a little Seattle football, I might add), and when the color yellow came up I got really excited! Then, when they walked into the studio, I was thrilled…Larisa nailed it. I was giddy with excitement that I could use my yellow lamp! Here they are, this beautiful-blue-eyed family that I love:

So…if you know Jeff, than you know that he can’t live without his iPhone. If you know his family, you know that they would love to throw it in the pool!
